Caesar Rodney is the No. 1 seed for Division I in this year’s DIAA Boys Soccer State championship, while Sussex Academy takes the No. 1 seed in Division II.
The Riders finished the regular season 12-1-2. Their only loss was to No. 2 seed Salesianum by a 3-1 score. Their two ties were to No. 8 Seed Cape Henlopen and Tatnall, the No. 2 seed in Division II.
Sussex Academy finished 13-2 on the season. Their losses were to No. 8 seed Cape Henlopen in Division I and to an out-of-state opponent. St. Christopher’s School out of Virginia.
Division I games start Thursday and Division II starts on Wednesday. All first-round games will be played at the higher-seeded team home field. Please see brackets for start times.
