Historic Odessa to host annual Easter Egg Hunt April 13

The Historic Odessa Foundation will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 13, offering a fun, family-friendly event for children ranging from toddlers to fifth graders.

The event, free and open to the public, will take place from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with eggs hidden throughout the gardens of the National Historic Landmark Corbit-Sharp House.

With colorful eggs hidden throughout the picturesque gardens of the Corbit-Sharp House, children will have the opportunity to hunt for eggs during scheduled time slots based on age group.

“Each year, our Easter Egg Hunt brings together families to celebrate spring, community, and the joy of discovery—right here where history lives and memories are made,” said Debbie Buckson, executive director of the Historic Odessa Foundation.

The event will be divided into different time slots based on age group, ensuring an exciting and safe experience for all participants:

• 2 p.m. – Preschool Egg Hunt
• 2:15 p.m. – Kindergarten and 1st Grade Egg Hunt
• 2:45 p.m. – 2nd and 3rd Grade Egg Hunt
• 3 p.m. – 4th and 5th Grade Egg Hunt
