Phillies’ Alec Bohm shows up at the Super Bowl with ESPN analyst (and Delco native) Erin Dolan

The Phillies didn’t make it to the World Series, but Alec Bohm made it to the Super Bowl.

The Phillies third baseman attended the Fanatics’ Super Bowl party Saturday alongside ESPN sports betting analyst and Delco native Erin Dolan, who confirmed to The Inquirer the two are dating.

“Yes, I do date Alec Bohm,” Dolan said during an interview at the Super Bowl Friday. “Having someone who’s in the same industry [and being able] to support each other is great, just because you deal with the same outside noise a lot of people don’t understand.”

“We try to keep it low-key,” Dolan added.

Dolan said her brother acted as her security guard during last year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas, and Bohm will serve that role Sunday at the Superdome in New Orleans.

“He’s coming to support me in my biggest moment, just like I would do the same for him.”

Bohm, who is under club control through 2026, has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason following a disappointing performance during the playoffs. Phillies manager Rob Thomson has said he’s been in close contact with Bohm since talk of a possible trade first surfaced.

“I just wanted to let him know we’re not shopping him,” Thomson told The Inquirer in December. “But because he’s a good player, there’s a whole lot of interest in him from other teams. Obviously you have to do your homework and talk to people and listen.”

The NFL’s A-List (and, of course, Big Dom DiSandro) also converged on Michael Rubin and the Fanatics’ Super Bowl party — some better dressed than others. Bill Belichick snuck in the side door in a UNC t-shirt and cargo shorts.

Even the Cowboys in attendance had to reluctantly compliment the Eagles.

“They’ve been putting in work over the years,” said Dez Bryant. “Shoutout to Nick Sirianni. I’m a big fan of players’ coaches. He’s been getting those guys prepared to be in these types of positions — but I don’t think they’ll beat the Chiefs.”

Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo and Rubin himself didn’t share that last opinion.

“Blowout victory,” Rubin said. “Decisive, Eagles fans going crazy, I can’t wait.”
