The 2025 Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Delaware sponsored by Wawa was held on Sunday, February 2nd.
The water temperature was a chilly 37 degrees, and the temperature was a balmy 41 degrees at 1 p.m. A record 4,416 people ran into the Atlantic Ocean in Rehoboth Beach. More than $1.2 million was raised to benefit the thousands of athletes who participate in Special Olympics Delaware.
