Detectives investigating armed robbery at Wireless World warehouse in New Castle

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Wireless World warehouse in New Castle.

On January 28, 2025, at approximately 5:21 p.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Wireless World, 161 Cirillo Circle in New Castle. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown male suspect entered the business and began loading a bag with electronic devices. A Wireless World employee confronted the suspect, and a struggle ensued, during which the suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled from the business towards a wooded area behind the industrial park with the stolen merchandise.

The suspect is described as an unknown male wearing dark-colored clothing. Surveillance video and images are not yet available.

Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has relevant information to contact Detective D. Patterson at (302) 365-8472. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
