St. Georges’ Joshua Obiora wins Player of the Week honors for 23-point performance

St Georges’ Joshua Obiora scored 23 points and hit five out of seven free throws in a win over Middletown has earned Player of the Week honors. 

Nominees for this week’s award were Jaylen Bernikow (Odessa), Amir Robertson (AI duPont), Ka’Ron Bacon (Caesar Rodney), Sophia Karch (Saint Mark’s), Katherine Meers (St Andrews), GG Banks (Ursuline), Kimyra Cornish-Baine (Seaford).
