MIDDLETOWN — The No. 9 Appoquinimink Jaguars ended a two-game losing streak with a two-point upset win over Odessa at home. The Jaguars held off a comeback from the fourth-ranked team in the state for a 57-55 victory.

Coming off back-to-back losses to Middletown and Howard, the Jags were desperate for a win and got it in front of a packed home crowd, With two minutes left in the game, Appo led by four points, but the Ducks were able to bring the lead down to two points as they found themselves with a last-second opportunity to tie or take the lead for the win.
