Mark Your Calendars: Homecoming 250

Homecoming 250 Navy Marine Corps (Homecoming 250™) has raised more than $3 million to support The Navy & Marine Corps 250th Celebration.

Yes, we know this isn’t a Delaware story per see, but thought you’d want to mark your calendar for the historic event, set to take place in Philadelphia and Camden from October 9 to October 16, 2025, with additional celebrations on November 10, to honor the 250th anniversaries of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

Contributions from donors and commitments from companies and foundations represent nearly 30% of Homecoming 250’s $10 million fundraising goal, ensuring a fitting and impactful tribute to the Navy, the Marine Corps, and their historic Philadelphia birthplace.

As the grand opening of America’s Semiquincentennial, the week-long commemoration will be the largest event of the entire Semiquincentennial, honoring the military and veterans and positioning Philadelphia in the national spotlight leading into 2026. Highlights will include a grand parade of ships up the Delaware River featuring historic, replica, and active-duty Navy vessels that will be available for public tours and a thrilling aerial demonstration by the elite U.S. Navy Blue Angels. The festivities culminate with acelebration of the Marine Corps 250th Birthday on November 10, including a Marine Corps 250th Commemoration, events at the site of The Tun recreation, and the highly anticipated 100th Marine Corps Birthday Ball.

Sponsors and donors include WSFS Bank and Comcast Corporation.
