Delaware State Police Detectives are investigating two shootings that occurred in Dover.
On January 19, 2025, at approximately 1:58 p.m., troopers responded to the 200 block of Gunning Bedford Drive in the Rodney Village community for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they learned that on January 18 at approximately 8:30 p.m., unknown suspects fired an unknown number of shots that hit the residence. The two adults in the residence were not hurt.
On January 20, 2025, at approximately 1:11 a.m., troopers responded to the same residence for another report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they learned that unknown suspects fired an unknown number of shots that hit the residence. One adult was in the residence at the time and was not hurt.
Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues its investigation and urges anyone with information about these incidents to contact Detective S. O’Leary at (302) 698-8527. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
