J.D. Power ranks Delmarva Power highest in residential customer satisfaction for 3rd straight year

J.D. Power has ranked Delmarva Power first in residential electric satisfaction in the East Midsize Region for the third consecutive year and for the fourth time in six years.

The survey is part of J.D. Power’s 2024 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study.

Scoring 703 on a 1,000-point scale, Delmarva Power ranked first among 11 comparatively sized electric utilities in the region. Delmarva Power also ranked highest overall in two areas considered for scoring: Corporate Citizenship and Price.

Pepco Holdings President and CEO Tyler Anthony said the award would not have been possible without the dedication of the Delmarva Power staff to deliver safe and reliable service.

Anthony said the company has modernized the local energy grid with automated equipment, making the grid smarter and more resilient, resulting in some of the lowest frequency of outages last year. It also leveraged tools to help customers manage their energy use and launched a tool to help customers experiencing challenges in paying their energy bill.
