Debo started or played in all 12 South Carolina Gamecocks football games. The Gamecocks were the 15th-ranked team in the country at the end of the season, narrowly missing the new 12-team college football playoffs. Debo had 37 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 59 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and half a sack. His season high came on Oct 19th in a 35-9 win over Oklahoma, where Debo had nine tackles. Williams and his Gamecocks teammates will play in the Cheez-Its Citrus Bowl against Illinois on December 31st.
Dante played in 10 games this season for the Maryland Terps. The defensive back recorded 37 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 59 total tackles, and 1 interception. His season-high tackles came on Sept 4th against Virginia with 11 tackles. He also recorded his only interception in the same game. You’ll see Dante’s name again this spring since he also plays lacrosse for the Terps.
The brothers Wayne and Yamir Knight (Smyrna) played or started in 12 games for the James Madison Dukes (JMU). Sophomore Wayne had 66 rushing attempts, 438 rushing yards, and two touchdowns. He also added 11 catches for 112 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Freshman Yamir Knight led the team in receiving yards with 567 yards and had four receiving touchdowns. He also serves as the team punt returner as well. The Knight brothers and their teammates will play their last game of the season on Dec. 18th in the Boca Raton Bowl against Western Kentucky.
Rahshon played in all 12 games for the Susquehanna River Hawks. The freshman running back had 203 rushing attempts, 1,453 rushing yards, and 18 touchdowns. He added 36 receptions, 402 yards, and three receiving touchdowns. Rahshon and his River Hawks teammates’ season is not over yet. They will be competing in the Division III Quarterfinals this Saturday as they host Bethel.
Xavier played in seven games for the Chestnut Hill Griffins this season. As a freshman, Xavier had 83 rushing attempts, 390 rushing yards, and a touchdown for the Griffins this season. His best game came on Oct. 5 against Cornell when he rushed for 132 yards on 18 attempts and was named his conference’s Rookie of the Week. Limehouse also is a special teams kick and punt returner.
